Motorcycle tire warranty guide for Philippine riders · Research checked October 30, 2026 · International policy verified; Philippine warranty terms not yet verified.
A tire warranty is not the same as the safe life of a tire. Manufacturing dates, purchase receipts, tread wear, accidental damage and the local seller all matter. Always inspect a damaged tire and follow the motorcycle and tire maker’s safety instructions.
This guide is part of a series on the warranty terms of six well-known motorcycle tire brands sold in the Philippines: Michelin, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Metzeler, Eurogrip and Dunlop. Each guide shows what the published terms say and what still needs checking with a local seller.
What does Eurogrip’s warranty say?
Eurogrip’s published India-market policy offers qualifying two-wheeler tires up to seven years from manufacture for manufacturing defects, or until specified tread-wear limits are reached, whichever happens first. Its separate non-manufacturing-defect provision has a shorter period and additional limits. This policy cites Indian law and jurisdiction.
What should riders check before making a claim?
Do not assume the India-market warranty applies to Eurogrip tires purchased in the Philippines. Local Philippine distributors should confirm the applicable warranty, proof-of-purchase requirements, exclusions and claim procedure before any duration is quoted as a Philippine benefit.
What to ask the dealer
Before buying, ask for the written local warranty terms, confirm the covered tire model and authorized sales channel, keep the dated receipt, photograph the sidewall manufacturing code and understand whether replacement or compensation is prorated. Do not continue riding on a damaged tire while awaiting a claim.
What the published evidence tells us
What the published international policy actually says: The Eurogrip manufacturer policy effective June 1, 2025 specifies up to seven years from manufacture or 0.8 mm tread depth for eligible two-wheeler manufacturing defects, whichever comes first. Tyres worn up to 10% may qualify for replacement without a tyre charge; later qualifying claims are pro-rated. A separate three-year non-manufacturing-defect provision has its own conditions. Importantly, this policy specifies Indian jurisdiction, so these durations must not be presented as confirmed Philippine coverage.
What is available locally: The Eurogrip Tyres Philippines site lists Bee Connect, Bee Wild, Bee Sport and other ranges and provides a Philippine distributor directory. Riders can contact its local Facebook page, identified by the brand’s Philippine contact page, to ask which warranty policy covers their purchase. Tire range availability is not proof that India’s warranty applies locally.
